About Us

The Estate Umbrella

Understanding the mechanism of how assets are transferred to loved ones and charities is important so that strategies to safeguard the inheritance and minimize taxes can be explored.

What sense is it to scrutinize over fractions of percentages during life, if the avoidable, massive losses of the estate settlement process are not remedied?

Everyone should know what their unique Estate Umbrella looks like! This diagram provides a clear understanding of tax risks, transfer risks and risks that heirs might incur before they can fully utilize the gift.

From this diagram, families and their advisors can see at-a-glance, how assets will flow to their heirs and which ones will need protective measures to minimize potential losses.

There are solutions for safely transferring to a vulnerable family member or an heir lacking financial competence as well as protection from unexpected situations such as bankruptcy or legal actions.

Our mission is to help families avoid wealth transfer losses, especially those incurred through the probate process. The first step is estate umbrella education. Whether individually, over Zoom, or at one of our workshops, our process has received rave reviews for years! Since the number of retirees is growing, we are expanding our ability to keep up with demand by training financial advisors how to facilitate this education as well.

Our Vision

To kindle a probate-avoidance movement and end Probate Guardianship of minors and individuals with Special Needs, and to assist the great wealth transfer by transforming how legacy gifts to nonprofits are donated and processed.

Our Mission

With a passion to make estate protection accessible & affordable, we offer education, retirement planning, & legal aid, so families can avoid unnecessary court involvement, aligned with the Biblical stewardship of 1 Corinthians 6 by not dragging their families & children with Special Needs through probate court to settle their estates.

More about Stacy . . .

Working at every level of government, local, state and national, including as a returning speaker to the United Nations, Stacy has advocated for those without a voice. Her advocacy work led her to create the Universal Guardian Trust, available in all 50 states. Stacy has traveled the country educating audiences and training financial advisors regarding changes to the trust laws that make it easier than ever for families to avoid probate and its needless pitfalls.

Estate Umbrella is the gold standard for estate protection and education for Special Needs families and retirees. Stacy has assembled a team of specialists who are as passionate as she is about protecting children from Probate Guardianship and seniors from needless taxation and court interference. As a kingdom-driven CEO, Stacy points out that 1 Corinthians 6 is also talking about probate court when it says that we should not drag our brothers (our family) to court to settle a legal matter.
